Submitted paper work on: 1-2-2015
Confirmation email received: 1-2-2015
Just noticed today(haven't checked it often since the wait is killing me ha ha)
Allows me to edit my address: 1-20-2015

As soon as I saw I could change my address and what not, I went googling, and found this site. Form the research I've done, it appears the process is completed and I should be seeing the plastic soon wen these items appear(knock on wood)?

Here is my timeline
12/20/14 - took CHL class
12/20/14 - submit application & uploaded CHL-100
12/22/14 - fingerprints done
01/02/15 - called DPS to verify they had all paperwork
01/09/15 - called to check on status, lady said they are working on it that by law they had 40 more days to get me the license
01/20/15 - waiting, still no change online status

SO I checked my mail yesterday saw a very plain envelop from DPS, I'm kinda surprised that's all that's in the envelope is the plastic

You need to call them, they don't answer emails quick, I already tried that, they can tell you where you application is on the phone, I just called yesterday and they said a tech was working on mine that they found some stuff on my background check and they were making sure I still meet the requirements for the CHL, here is the number 512-424-7293 if the automated says to try your call later wait about an hour and call back

Yep called them today. I was advised my documents were never received and they never started on the application process... The nice woman I spoke to was very confused that I have a confirmation email from them stating they received supporting documents.

12/26/2014 – Completed online CHL application
12/28/2014 – Received DPS confirmation email
1/2/2015 – Fingerprints
1/3/2015 – Received IdentoGO confirmation email
1/4/2015 – CHL Class, submitted CHL-100 online, received DPS confirmation email
1/16/2015 – DPS website status changed to allow information changes
1/22/2015 - Received CHL in the mail

13 business days from the time all my paperwork was submitted. Could've been worse, I guess.

Sounds like we talked to the same person. I resubmitted my documents yesterday after they told me they never received the proof of training, AND I did not get a confirmation email this time.

Sounds like we talked to the same person. I resubmitted my documents yesterday after they told me they never received the proof of training, AND I did not get a confirmation email this time.

it does sound a lot like the same answer and maybe our chl-100 document is at the bottom of the same stack of papers of a person that just took a 3 week vacation lol.
I thank there "30 days" is just a standard answer to every thing.
I did get a confirmation email about 2 hrs later to the chl-100 I sent today

first post and looking forward to meeting everyone on here.

Called to check in today and they said the application was approved and plastic was mailed on 1/20/15...hoping it's in the mailbox when i get home

really impressed. was expecting 60 days so even taking my time to get things turned in i was still able to get it in roughly a month

Has this happened to anyone else? Everyone that took the class when I did has received their license. The people that applied the next week have their license. One guy that applied 2 weeks after I did has confirmation that his is in the mail. Mine is still in process.
