Re: "Waiting Room"
Congrats you all! If the status changed today, you'll prolly see it in the next 4 or 5 business days!

11-10-14 (Marine Corps Birthday)- Fingerprints submitted and email response from RDS.
11-11- 14 Veterans Day- I doubt they were open.
11-14-14 Change in status on-line
11-19-14 Plastic in Hand.
Very efficient for me. I hope others have the same luck.

Re: "Waiting Room"
Congrats! You're almost there. Mine only took two days from my status change to show up in my mailbox, and I'm nowhere near Austin.Charlies.Contingency wrote:Woot Wooooot!
This popped up! My plastic must be on the way! I get to go home Sunday, so hopefully it's there when I check the mail Monday morning! It won't do a whole lot for me, but need and don't have it, then I'd be crying. 7 Weeks and 3 days for status change. Looks like they're still gonna meet the 60 day mark, even with my snags!Change Information

Then hopefully it will be there when I get home, I would check sooner, but I am out of town, which kind of makes it hart to relay how fast it took from notification to plastic.flytoride wrote:Congrats! Re: "Waiting Room"
Dang.. I always wonder why it takes so long for some while others are going so fast in the same time frame. Have you moved around a lot or something? I did read that some people that applied in October where having some issues.Echo5iveDelta wrote:03 October 2014 - CHL Course (CHLNow in Houston)

Re: "Waiting Room"
I was in the Marines until medically retired in 2010. Born in Maryland, lived in Vermont for 20, North Carolina back and forth to Iraq for a few years while active duty, California for a few years before retired, then moved to Texas to attend nursing school. So yeah, I have moved around some, guess my DD214 didn't expedite the background check...RDT806 wrote: Dang.. Re: "Waiting Room"
Does anyone know how they update the site? Do they do it once a day?

Re: "Waiting Room"
I have read that the status on the DPS site is updated every morning 6am.
Not sure if that is accurate or not, was only reading what someone else wrote.

Be kind and rewind.
Re: "Waiting Room"
Well I guess that means I can stop checking it 5 times a day.
