I've seen this. I'd like to know the total number of students interviewed. While I could make a joke about Tech, I won't. The issue has to do with the deemphasis on the humanities, liberal art, and social sciences. I'm an academic. The students I encounter can spit back math and science formulas with ease.

My experience outside the ivory towers is decidedly different. Most seem to have a poor grasp of basic arithmetic, never mind complex math, based on the puzzled expressions if the register says $29.87 and I hand them $40.12.

IMO, this video is not a slam against any particular college.

Every school has it's share of lower and higher caliber students and each produces it's share of lower and higher caliber graduates.

I think the title of the video - "Politically-Challenged" is too generous.

It's really about a core of general knowledge that every high school graduate should have.

I don't think they will be running the country per se, but will probably voting for those who will continue to run down the country.

Before opening the thread, I was thinking I would answer The Federal Govt. I think I wouldn't be far off.
