Apparently. Those two teal-ish bottles might be Cloralen, but I doubt anyone in this photo actually knows anything about serious biohazard cleanup, or they wouldn't be using what we used to call a "goo aerosolizer" when I worked in food production.
First verified case of Ebola transmission outside of Africa to a nurse in Spain. She provided care to a priest flown from Africa back to Spain for treatment and subsequently died. When she developed symptoms she was on vacation.
It appears this is going to be bad. No doubt the only Spainish patient with Ebola, received care that was safe for the care givers. Yet she still contacted it.
We need to close the borders to anyone who has been to Africa within the last 21 days. Let these travelers have a cooling off period outside of Africa, before they enter the U S.
It may only postpone the problem.
This appears like it is going to be with us awhile.
We have a great location for a quarantine. I say anyone with a passport stamp from a West African country must layover there and stay for 21 days. We would staff it with ebola medical specialists. No symptoms after 21 days? You are free to go on to your North American destination.
It's called Guantanamo.
And yes, we could still use the small part reserved for terrorists. I'm sure they won't mind.
