Sent payment on 6/10, and I have plastic in hand as of 7/17. Was not able to check status online or by phone, but I can't complain with the turnaround time.

Just an update.. My paperwork was complete and mailed in on the 17th and was delivered to DPS on the 19th. Tomorrow is the 60th day from the time it was delivered. After many failed attempts to reach DPS by phone yesterday i finally got someone to answer at about 4:50pm and they told me my license was mailed out on the 16th. So 3 days before the 60 day mark. hopefully i will have it in hand soon. been checking my mail diligently. (also a side note- not sure if this affected the processing or manufacturing but i also updated my address a few days before the 16th and paid the $27...so im not sure if that sped up the process or what. My guess is that i will receive an old CHL with old address as well as a new one with my new address)

Overview...

Paperwork (including class documents, fingerprints etc) mailed off 17MAY2014
NO ONLINE UPDATES WHATSOEVER (EVEN NOW)
Talked to DPS and they said CHL was mailed 16JULY2014

Will update when plastic is in hand..

good luck everyone

Received an email this morning reading "our records indicate your license was mailed from our office on 07/17/14. Your license should arrive between 7-15 business days". Should be interesting to see how long it takes to show up. Email of "received all documents" to "in the mail" 39 days. Will update when it arrives.

Application 5/18
Fingerprints 5/20
CHL class 6/8
All documents received email 6/9
No status available 7/7
Mailed email 7/17
