Ok well I'm at day 66 and I just called again to check up on the status. I was told my background check went through and that my file needed to be signed out on. She took my number down and told me that she would try to get the signature done today. I don't know how long it'll take for me to get the license in the mailbox, but I sure am glad this is another step forward.

Just called DPS, I was so surprised that there was no waiting time at all. I went straight to a live person. I was informed my app was in background review and will take 2 weeks before I receive my chl...yea...at least I have something to go on.
