Well ladies and gentleman, I buckled and decided to go ahead and re-submit my wife and my documents online. It's day 54 since I mailed them. So now let's see if this speeds things up. I did receive the email stating they have received the documents and please allow 6 weeks for processing. Hopefully it will not start the process over again and I have to wait 6 more weeks, since I've already waited almost 8.

When you say you sent off your documents I'm assuming you resent the CHL-100 and the "checklist". I wanted to do the same, but the only way I can print my checklist is to print the whole webpage from my e-mail. Is this how you went about doing this? Did you just take photos of the paper work or did you scan it and send it?

I scanned them in and submitted it here: https://www.txdps.state.tx.us/rsd/contact/chl.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

As for the checklist, I just printed the email sent to me once I completed the Application. (This is the one with the Bar code) I did have an issue with my email not letting me print because it kept taking the barcode off of the email, so I copied the email and pasted it onto a Word Doc.

One thing I can say about the whole process of obtaining a CHL: It will teaches you to be patient :waiting: and how to deal with frustration. :banghead:

so the wait has begun...well in my mind the wait is cut in half because I work up in Alaska 2 wks on 2 wks off..haha..
well I'll be... checked my status last nite and everything is checked green, mfg pending. Less than 30 days...Ill take that...What sucks is I head back to Alaska on Wed and wont be back til July 11th...
checked late last nite and now switched to mfg... slim possibility it gets here before I leave on Wed for 2 wks... oh well..Under 30 days is still decent in my book.
plastic in hand... will wait til I get back from Alaska in July before I make my first trip with it since I leave in the morning...my holster from Stealth Gear isn't supposed to be here til end of this week or next.

Just got my stealth gear yesterday...

Might want to email them also. They aren't quite as bad as Austin, but they are trying.

They say 3-5 weeks. At 5 weeks I emailed them, they said it would go out the next Friday. No shipping info so I emailed again the following week. They finally shipped. Think it was about 6 weeks total.

They emailed me a week ago saying it was shipping...today I called them and they were like we apologize...it might ship in two weeks. They werent answering emails I sent.. That would be 7 wks wait time for it, but no sense in complaining since im going to be gone for two weeks anyways.
