If a shop owner in the Grapevine Mills Mall ever asks me (outside of the mall) why I refuse to shop there, my answer will be simple: "There isn't a single thing you have in your store that I can't find somewhere else, without paying any more for it, and without being treated like a criminal even though I have passed a background check that you haven't passed." When asked to explain, I'll explain it. "I'd love to give you my business, but as long as you are doing business inside a mall that will not allow me in, AND THAT WILL THREATEN ME WITH ARREST FOR ENTERING, I'll take my business elsewhere."
:iagree: Hooter's would not be my first choice for a night out on the town anyways.
Twin Peaks is eating Hooter's lunch. Side by side Twin Peaks is much better. Don't know about CHL at Twin Peaks.

Theme restaurants generally serve mediocre food.

If one must leer at well endowed young women, admit it and head directly to a strip club.

Some of them actually serve good food.

So, you no longer frequent your neighborhood Hooters?
I got dragged to a few by clients and managers on business trips out of town, but if I'm close to home I know dozens of places where the menu and personnel are lower in fat.

Folks, please note that Moby started this Topic in the Off-Topic category about an email he sent to Hooters corporate regarding CHL carry.

Glock_Tacular started a Topic on October 27 in the General Texas CHL Discussion category about a personal experience he had at a restaurant in North Texas: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=59117" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Let's not commingle these two Topics. The casual reader won't know the relationship between the Topics, so you can't assume they do...and particularly let's not post jabs in one Topic that imply knowledge of the other. Doing so only makes the Topic unreadable.

This Forum has over 55,000 Topics and over 700,000 posts.

Please keep the other 12,000 readers in mind when you post.

What's confusing? They posted the signs required by law as a business that sells alcohol. They also posted a sign expressing their desire that CHL and LEO don't carry but elected not to make their desire legally binding.

Are you sure that's their desire? With all the jpeg artifacts, it looks more like that sign says that carrying a gun is "promibited", and I don't know what that so-called word means.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

This subject has been discussed since 2003. What more is there to be said?

http://www.thehighroad.org/archive/inde ... 47087.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I went to Hooter's for lunch last week. I had wings and a Pepsi. They don't have Coke.

The only reason I went is because a co-worker picked the place. The food and service was very average.

I don't care if they give a hoot about my CHL. I don't give a hoot about Hooter's.

They are a theme restaurant that is passé and beyond their prime.

IMO, our [female] server would have been much more attractive had she not had the chrome ball piercing through her nostril.

I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.
