So it's been about 2 weeks since notified that documents were submitted to specialist and there is no status listed on the website. Waiting stinks.

Yeah it does. Mine is the same way. Docs submitted last week though, but have only gotten the email that docs were submitted.

Right there with ya fellas, I'm fond thinking I'll be the exception to make myself feel better. You know, I have military service, it'll be quicker, I've been in the same county for years, it'll be quicker, I don't even have a speeding ticket, it'll be quicker. The reality is, it won't be quicker and I should suck it up and just be quiet for the next 2 mos.

My wife send in her CHL-100 via snail mail (everything else was done electronically) and it was signed for on Feb 3. Of course there has been no update to the web site and it still says waiting for receipt of required documents. I realize they are backed up, but geeze, they put a barcode on the application. How hard can it be to scan it in and at least have the page say it's been received and then update the details later? It would probably cut back on the number of phone calls and e-mails. My wife does not mind the waiting IF there was some indication that they actually had received it.

I'm right there with you and I sent mine in electronically about a week after you. Now I received email saying that they have received and sent to specialist, but the website still doesn't show any updates as far as status is concerned. At least I know mine was received but i wish i knew where it was in the process.

Hate to burst a bubble ... but don't get confident they have received it. I'm sitting at day 56 right now and my status still shows "waiting on required materials". When I called them about 10 days ago, they said they didn't have my CHL100 (which was uploaded with all my other material!!!). So I faxed it in to them and I'm now being told that it's 60 days from when they received the last CHL 100 ... so all in all, I could be 100+ days. Have fun with government run health care! :mad5

I dropped sent mine via snail mail 2 weeks ago and no update. I was under the impression, at the time that sending electronically was only for renewals. Would it be benefitial to send them electronically as well? I hate the not knowing if they even received it.

I processed my online application and did my fingerprints almost 2 months ago, was just waiting for the class. It would be nice and a little more efficient if they went ahead and processed the background when they received the money so all they had to do when they received the class certificate is send your license.

Paperwork sent snail mail Valentines Day. As of today no change in online update. After reading thru this forum, I will stop checking online status daily... :totap:

Yesterday marked 1 month (by date) since they received my info. No change in status as of yet. But I'm addicted to checking it at least twice a day lol

New cat with first post here. In "purgatory" with the rest of us who applied in February (and earlier):

Initial application: 3 Feb 14
Documents submitted online: 10 Feb 14

I also called Friday, 7 March for my 30-day status update, and the lady I spoke with said "they were still going through January's applications," so take that for what it's worth.
