Filed application and all required paperwork online 11/29/13
Received the following email 1/14/14:
We have received the necessary information for your CHL application. No further action or documents are required on your part at this time. A specialist will review and process your application. If anything further is missing we will contact you by regular mail. The online status of your application will likely update just before the process completes. This can take up to 8 weeks from when your last documents were submitted.

Called 2/20/14 : after 30 minutes on hold a very pleasant young lady informed me that it would probably be another 3 to 4 weeks.

3/3/14 ...REALLY ..... 94 days.... still waiting, no updates whatsoever.....

I feel your pain.
I turned it all in online a week after you did. Not one update online. Emails and phone calls have been no help.

What a joke this entire process is! I'm only at day 56 from submitting my docs (on-line) and seeing your posts gives me great angst! Would LOVE to know why they can possibly work apps out of "order received" because other posters are saying they are getting plastics in 40 days!

I totally agree; If I were to run my business the way they run this deal I would have no business...... of course people have a CHOICE when free enterprise is involved. With govt. you just pay your money and take your chances.....

Called again today. I was looking forward to jamming out to hold music, but I had my call answered by a guy in about 10 seconds. After checking my app he checked with a supervisor and my app has been sent to that supervisor to handle. He said a few more days, or a week at worst case and I should be done.

Cautiously hopeful...

Now at day 102 in the waiting game ...... ridiculous.. Have even left message on a direct phone that a chl waiting room member shared with me ..... no return phone call.... no update. What really burns me is that there is no order to the way licenses are issued...posting.php?mode=reply&f=42&t=69894#" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I got that same message and called back in less than a minute. The automated voice told me I had a 15 min wait time that ended up being about 10 seconds.

Keep trying.
