I knew DC was bad... I just didn't know how bad...

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do those things to other people and I require the same of them.

I'm not sure they would notice. :biggrinjester:

I think the elected officials in DC manufacture enough of that stuff themselves.

Anyone heard any news about how it's going - all I've seen around the internet is "ongoing trial" and not a peep of detail, anywhere. Jiminy crickets, they holding it in Area 51 or what. May have to email Emily Miller over at the Washington Times and ask what the hey is going on.

It's more like we have the best political system money can buy.

The thing that eats at me is the question whether any officers in the raids felt they were doing something wrong? I know if I was instructed to take part in this travesty, I would, but as soon as we got back to the station I would submit my resignation, effectively immediately, with no reason given.

Is there any way to accurately find out how the rank and file feel about these operations?

The people who are responsible for these actions should be held responsible for criminal acts.

A question to those more qualified than myself to answer: Is the charge “Official Oppression” only used for those instances where officers coerce women to engage in sex acts?
God Bless America, and please hurry.
When I was young I knew all the answers. When I got older I started to realize I just hadn’t quite understood the questions.-Me

Another angle to take the next time someone is out shooting trap/skeet is to bring home some empty shotgun hulls, drop them into a small USPS flat rate box, and mail them to various DC Council members with a note that they are now felons.
