New York ad to attract new business

#1

Post by FL450 »

Not sure if this was the right forum to post but I am up in NJ,NY right now just saw an ad on TV for New York advertising for new business ,expanding business or business moving there for 10 years of no tax in a tax free designated area. I don't think they will attract any firearms related business.
I love the sound smell of jet fuel in the morning.

Their governor has made it quite clear that certain people need not apply.

When you're New York you need to cast a very wide net to catch any fish.

It will be interesting to see who bites. Sprouts maybe?

I saw this ad run. The image that came to mind was one of a drowning man throwing a rope and there was no one there to grab it.

I have seen that ad. The first thing I thought was "Not in a million years." Tax free for ten years is nothing compared to what they will want back in taxes and regulations after the ten years is up...

I'm not even buying the tax free for 10 years. My guess that it is a well crafted bait and switch with Terms and Conditions that will invalidate it. NY politicians are among the biggest money grabbers on the planet.

They're advertising 10 years tax free for statups. What happens after the 10 years are up? My guess is it'll be time to pay the piper and the check will not be small.

Their motto should be "if you can't make it here, you won't make it anywhere without corporate welfare."
