We are a little scarse in that area.
Move on South a little & there are several in the Deep East Texas Piney Woods.

From Tyler, but living in Irving now. I still own a house in Tyler and go there at least every other week.

Tried to go fishin' in June of 1980 on a private lake near Sulphur Springs. Does that count?

No CHL back then and only had .22 revolver in tackle box. To keep thread gun-related ;-) , the .22 was outclassed by mosquitoes big enough to stand flat-footed and face off with turkeys. Being low on ammo and blood, we packed up early and rolled west quickly. When I've gone back through East Texas ever since, it's been with windows rolled up and 70 mph. Ya understand now why ya don't see many people postin' from there? ;-)

Not E-Tex, but NE-Tex. I'm just about as NE as you can get, just outside Texarkana. I always enjoy hooking up with fellow forum members. I recently had a great time at my local range with Longtooth and Tote 9. I've met another forum member for coffee when he was in town on business.

Anyone passing through Texarkana is always welcome to give me a shout, whether it's for lunch or range time.

I am a new member 5/09 LT WELCOMED ME , I live in the rose capital of america I am sure most texan can guess. I was kiding LT I use to go his way when I working for a living. also your way KB Craig I have like others have said, been hovering here since jan 07 just really have enjoyed reading and appreciate the demeanor this group has show If my daughter was still alive I would recommend this TEXAS CHL forum to her.
I worked for the railroad / was electronic tech, and kevin I believe you and another person was taking about railroad morse, boy does that bring a lots of memories . western union was the supplyer for all of outside consruction a few that were rr buffs or employee that knew this. I quit my rambling on I have saw many changes lots of folks were always suprised the most that the class A railroad had their on communication networks , you name it and as things became anaquated they were removed and more modern equiptment was installed yes I was one of those who got nominated maybe I should have said that was my job haha.

Princeton here, not really east either. Wifey has an aunt and uncle that live on Lake Palestine.

Four blocks from the Arkansas border, can't get much farther east than this.

Love to shoot and enjoy meeting other shooters.

Shout if you are unlucky enough to be here.

I live a little more than 1/4 mile from LT's front door step in Lufkin.

That was a weird first conversation with LT. I thought he was messing with me.

Originally, I am from a community called Bettie, which is between Gilmer and Pittsburg. Never like telling people I was from Gilmer as I married a Gladewater Girl. Big rivalry there...
