Re: September Apps
I sent my paperwork in late September, and despite my daily checking to see of they have received my paperwork and have any updates, unfortunately I have none. Hoping the site is updated soon and something shows up. But they should have had the paperwork no later than oct 1st. Guess I'll just wait and see.

Re: September Apps
I would have uploaded it on line, but I don't have a scanner to scan the CHL-100 or my DD 214 onto the PC. I knew I was going to need one of those some day.escapedNJ wrote:You can still upload yours online instead of mailing them out. Applied on line on 25 Sep
Finished the CHL class on 28 Sep
Got finger printed on 8 Oct
Mailed checklist and docs on 9 Oct
Now, I'm just waiting for the first status update. I may have messed up by not sending the checklist and docs by certified mail, return receipt requested. I sent it first class mail,
so now I have no idea if they even got it. Did most of you sent it certified mail?

25$?? that is dirty.
After 5 agonizing days of "mailed" status, it finally arrived. Now onward to Wal-Mart for my Wally Walk.

Re: September Apps
No update so far and I mailed mine on the 16th. Looks like they have slowed down in comparison to the people that submitted in the beginning of the September.TrackinPat wrote:I submitted mine on the 21st and submitted all paperwork online on the 24th and also haven't had a single update. Re: September Apps
Hey guys!
First time applicant here, I also submitted everything online.
My timeline is as follows:
09/09/2013 - Online Application filled out/paid (I never received the barcode email)
09/12/2013 - Submitted fingerprints
09/14/2013 - Completed CHL class/test/qualification
09/16/2013 - Submitted CHL-100 through TX DPS website
09/18/2013 - Called TX DPS and asked if all materials were received. The person I talked to put me on hold for 20 min while he looked for my documents and then told me all of the required documents have been received but there was an issue with my finger prints. The computer was having a hard time accepting them and he had to force it. He then said I should have my license in about 45 days.
Going with the date of 09/18 I am now at 33 days with out an update on the website.
I emailed the TX DPS website asking about the barcode sheet and got this response:
"Thank you for using the Regulatory Services Division’s website.
The checklist and barcode page are only available online for 48 hours from the time you submitted the online application. Neither form is required for the training or the application process. You may mail in the application materials you have without it. You may include a hand written letter stating that you have already paid the fees online."
