In the Torah, crimes like this (murder) were proscribed the death penalty. Stoning by the community was the method of execution. But a boy doesn't become a man until 13. Until then his father is responsible for him. So I'm at a loss as to how this would be handled scripturally.jmra wrote:Are you saying you want to administer the death penalty to an 8 year old?rbwhatever1 wrote:This little psychopath skipped killing neighborhood puppies and cats and went straight for a human. Extermination would be in order, sooner rather than later. Nature needs to run it's course here with the help of this little miscreants creators.

Re: 8 year old shoots and kills 90 year old grandmother
He administered his own penalty. We could wait until he cock's the hammer of a Colt 38 and shoots another relative in the back of the head...or wait until he takes a butcher knife or axe to a neighbors kid. Evil is Evil. We can blame video games, guns and analyze this all day long if that makes us feel better but neither one has ever killed someone all by itself. One must have the desire and lack of empathy to do such an evil thing. This was no accident and his Grandmother deserved better. Our personal beliefs may not be better served by putting the rest of society at risk by this little monster living next door. I would not want this thing sitting next to my daughter in class nor would i want any one else's child in proximity to him. The hard decision on this one should be left to a few people to make.
