I hear this time & again. Lots of folks actually tried an M&P & next thing they know, they're selling their Glocks.

I've got a buddy with 12 pistols, 80% of them are Glocks. He's got a G17 in just about each room of his house. We go shooting frequently & the times I've fired his Glock, I just didn't like the grip, yet my buddy can punch a hole in the center of a target with his .45 Glock (sorry, don't know the numbers besides G17) the diameter of a coke can at a fairly rapid pace at 7yd. I hate watching him shoot because I'm not that accurate with mine.

Get both 9 & 40 is best solution. I prefer 9 on range and 40 for carry although CC both. While I still throw 100 or so down range with 9's I now limit my 40's to 50 rds. or less, and it has naught to do with ammo shortage cause I've got plenty of both. The 40's beat my hand up too much (usually 3-5 pistol to range and make a day of it). They are addictive. :fire

Actually, getting both IS EASY! ;) Much like the Glock, you can swap barrels in the M&P. Buy the .40, drop in a 9 barrel, get some 9 mags & voila. I intend to do this as well with my .40 Mid. Just haven't done it yet.

I think I am going to get the M&P full size. Not it's narrowed down to M&P 9 or M&P 40.
Both my Glocks (9mm &.40) are really awesome & I shoot them both well. HELP! Im like a kid at the candy counter!!!! "rlol"
If you get the .40 you can have 3 guns in one. The M&P 9mm and .357 barrels will fit right on the .40 frame. You'll probably need some M&P 9mm mags as well, since the 9mm rounds may get hung up in the .40 mags. Plus the M&P fits & shoots like a dream.

WOW! I didnt know that. That would be awesome & a lot cheaper than 2 guns.
LAYGO was also saying something about that.
So Basicly I just need to get 9mm barrel & a couple of mags if I buy the .40 pistol. .357 would come later.
THis is WAY too cool. Thanks for sharingf this info!!!! :cheers2: :thumbs2:

You cannot put a Glock 9mm barrel in a Glock 40 pistol. The Lone Wolf brand barrels in the 9mm are thicker because the 40 barrel is larger in diameter.

I am not sure about the S&W M&P.

Thanks LAYGO: I read the comments. EVERYBODY loved it. Barrel & Mag. Turn you M&P 40 to a 9mm in seconds. I love it!!!
Good prive on the 9mm barrel too.
Now I just have to wait for my $500 give card from my work for my 10YR anniversary.
Bad thing is you have to pick a gift card from a list & the only store on the list that sells guns is Bass Pro. They have the M&P 40 in stock. :headscratch
