But tyour recoil control was awesome. I think it's great to even compete in those. You did a lot better than I could have done!!!! I bet you learned a lot too!

Re: San Antonio meet and greet set
Something just came up that will take my time tomorrow morning into the afternoon, so with my regrets, I won't be able to attend. Real sorry. =\
Have a great time y'all!

Re: San Antonio meet and greet set
My CHL instructor was wearing one of those during my class (without "Shoot Me First" on the back ;) ). It kind of made sense because he's a retired cop - but I'm never again going to be able to see someone wearing one without thinking "carrying? probably". Unless they really, really look like they're into fishing ...Pecos wrote:I may also be wearing a tan safarri vest the says "Shoot me First" on the back !!!!
I think the ones with "Shoot Me First" on the back might be from the department of redundancy department's new summer line
(I don't really care or think that people shouldn't wear a vest if that's what they want to wear, and before I actually started thinking about carrying and reading stuff I'd have never thought of it as an indication of carry)

Sadly I'm going to miss this since I'll be in everyone's favorite city, Austin.

Re: San Antonio meet and greet set
I get it... tea...sip. Well played sir. I'm still in if anyone is checking. I lost count of the count, think it was up to 8 and then minus one, so maybe I'm the new 8, or else 9. Gonna have to take my shoes off if we get a few more. I'll be on a motorcycle so in a gray mesh motorcycle jacket... and maroon shirt! Gig'em!JALLEN wrote:Well, cool. I have an appt at 2, but may be able to swing by for a quick lunch and greet possibly. And someone needs to bring some maroon to this gathering to offset JALLEN's burnt orange. :-) I'll try to wear maroon and look for Wilford Brimley on a diet and so on... No guarantees though.
Good for you, see you then. I hope to be sipping a large tea.

Re: San Antonio meet and greet set
Starbucks... a "coffee" place (quotes to emphasize it's kind of coffee), isn't open by 8:48 am???? Sheesh.anomie wrote:Well - don't I have a lot of time to kill. With practically nothing open yet :D

Starbucks being open was the only reason it was 'practically' instead of 'absolutely' nothing open.SlowDave wrote:Starbucks... a "coffee" place (quotes to emphasize it's kind of coffee), isn't open by 8:48 am???? If I drink much more coffee this morning it's not going to be pretty.
Practically done with the work I had to get done this morning - I'll be packing up and wandering around for a bit. See you all at noon :)

Nice to meet everyone. Good times. Now I just have to make a seating chart with real names and screen names so I can remember. :-)
Great idea.
