My CHL instructor was wearing one of those during my class (without "Shoot Me First" on the back ;) ). It kind of made sense because he's a retired cop - but I'm never again going to be able to see someone wearing one without thinking "carrying? probably". Unless they really, really look like they're into fishing ...

I think the ones with "Shoot Me First" on the back might be from the department of redundancy department's new summer line :biggrinjester:

(I don't really care or think that people shouldn't wear a vest if that's what they want to wear, and before I actually started thinking about carrying and reading stuff I'd have never thought of it as an indication of carry)

And someone needs to bring some maroon to this gathering to offset JALLEN's burnt orange. :-) I'll try to wear maroon and look for Wilford Brimley on a diet and so on... No guarantees though.
Well, cool. Most of the time all these years, my Aggie friends would be saying "Wait 'til next year!"

Good for you, see you then. I hope to be sipping a large tea. ;-)
I get it... tea...sip. Well played sir. I'm still in if anyone is checking. I lost count of the count, think it was up to 8 and then minus one, so maybe I'm the new 8, or else 9. Gonna have to take my shoes off if we get a few more. I'll be on a motorcycle so in a gray mesh motorcycle jacket... and maroon shirt! Gig'em! :woohoo

Starbucks... a "coffee" place (quotes to emphasize it's kind of coffee), isn't open by 8:48 am???? Sheesh.

Starbucks being open was the only reason it was 'practically' instead of 'absolutely' nothing open.

If I drink much more coffee this morning it's not going to be pretty.

Practically done with the work I had to get done this morning - I'll be packing up and wandering around for a bit. See you all at noon :)

Nice to meet everyone. Good times. Now I just have to make a seating chart with real names and screen names so I can remember. :-)

Great idea.
