What a relief and freedom you must feel being able to get moved. Being in Texas all of my life I haven't experienced anything like California.JALLEN wrote:. . .I'll be carrying that until I get moved as I've sold all my 10 round magazines for the Sig and have 18 rounders waiting for me when I get to the new home.

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
It is always a mixed sensation, as I have sons and granddaughters who are native Californians, native San Diegans actually, and they are all but impossible to move. I was sent here 45 years ago this month as a brand new Ensign, just doing my duty!carlson1 wrote:What a relief and freedom you must feel being able to get moved. To a great extent, I am making a virtue of necessity since I have to be within an hour of the transplant center one of these days, so San Antonio was an easy pick, instead of LA or some other place I've never been. No Native Texan complains about having to return to Texas, do we?
Movers show up Wednesday and Thursday, we head out Friday morning!
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
I've been carrying the Sig P238 since I got my CHL in December but during those "magazines will be banned" moments I picked up a Taurus PT92 for much less than $400 new at Academy and have carried it on occasion. I love carrying it on long road trips into unknown territory in my Galco Jackass shoulder holster. Surprisingly it conceals rather well even with the extended magazine in.
The Sig P238 is holstered in a DeSantis Cozy Partner and the spare mag holder is a Gould & Goodrich.

got a few to choose from...
The P220 is more for hunting and OTW carry. Not too comfy inside the waist band.

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
I had read about GL Schwenk a few times from folks on different boards, and finally found some for sale at a gun show in SA today, so I bought one and I can honestly say that the 1911 fits snuggly and comes out without too much tug. It reholsters nicely too. I can't even feel it on my hip, and it doesn't dig into my ribs when I'm seated. All in all I give it 9 out of 10 stars (-1 for making me wait this long to find one).
