Looks like BG checks take anywhere form 1 day to ???? Funny some only take a day???

yep- truly is no pattern or rhyme or reason to the time frames...I know I've been the exception rather than the norm...of course my selfish butt is already thinking well if its gone this fast up till now how come that thing hasn't been mailed off yet?????? HA!

I just got mine in the mail yesterday. Here is my time table:

Course completed May 11
Completed online application May 11
Mailed docs May 13
Fingerprinted May 13

Don't remember when my status first changed, but went to background and fingerprints complete on June 15

Manufacture pending June 16
Manufacturing June 16
Mailing June 17
In mailbox June 19

Mailbox to mailbox in 38 days.

Update: Did my Wally Walk today when shopping for groceries. Pocket carried my Springfield XDs .45. No bad guys got me.

I sent my paperwork in via USPS Priority mail and DPS received it June 4. I have been checking daily on the website with no change in my status at all. Logged in today and I went right to manufacturing pending! It does appear that the wait time is decreasing.

Update... Changed to mailed on the 21st. Only one day from manufacturing to mailing. Looks like I'll get it early next week.

I mailed my stuff May 29th. I have been in BG check for 9 days as of today. Maybe tomorrow will be my lucky day.
