Looking for M&P 15-22 MOE in Houston area

Anyone see any M&P 15-22 MOE in stock around the Houston area, and for a non-price-gouging price? I consider non-price-gouging price as $550 and under.

Palmetto State Armory has this for $379. And you can add a basic AR15 upper to this lower for an entry level .223.

Maybe wait for the next gun show, our last one up here had a 15-22 for $479. I was more surprised by the regular .223 version being only $779.

Sold my M&P 15-22 a ways back, but I do not believe you can mount a standard AR upper on a M&P 15-22 lower. I could be wrong.

You are correct, you can't mount a standard .223/556 upper on an M&P 15-22 lower. Mag well is totally different, and there are other differences.

I like the Magpul furniture (and the quadrail), so buying the M&P15-22 MOE saves me money on the long run.

Academy had the standard mp15-22 and the colt version in stock last weekend. No MOE though.. 499.99 for the mp

Thanks folks. Problem with buying online is that most places have a shipping fee. Then there's also the FFL transfer fee.
