Be careful, now. Whenever I ask something like that, I get my post removed and a beat-down from the moderators.

"Weapons of any kind, including guns, knives, pepper spray, handcuffs, nightsticks or other items"

Given the difficulty of just getting up to the gate (i.e. busses and traffic), I'd rather have an idea before I get there. Without valid 30.06 signs posted at the entrances, I believe I am within my rights to carry.

Any opinions?

NOPE. Carry prohibited at professional sporting event.

Sort of. Carry is only prohibited inside buildings at professional sporting events.

Not sure this is accurate either and I don't have the time to look it up at the moment. Would recommend double checking.

You are incorrect. Statute says nothing about said sporting event being inside a building.

Actually, it says 'on the premises of' and premises is defined in the statute as a building or portion of a building. NOW, the quesiton is does a stadium with no roof qualify as a building? Does a fenced in set of bleachers qualify as a 'building'? Only a test case would tell, so i am not going to press my luck on that one.

Then we will need to define what the word "is" means.

I wouldn't take my chances on trying to win a case base on a stadium or fenced in race facility isn't considered on the premises.

You are correct, and I was wrong in the way that I wrote that. If I'm in the stands at a College Football game I'd be concerned if I were caught carrying.
