My CHL arrived 6 weeks ago and I have been carrying daily since then. I seemed to have adapted quickly to the fact that I am carrying, but still learning and adjusting to the mechanics of carrying and the clothing I own and wear. I've done all the usual things, Walmart, cabelas, Kroger, gas, commuting and bought a shotgun with it. No incidents, no shootings, no LEO contact, no panics-nothing.
Before my license arrived I wore it at home and in the yard, both concealed and at times openly in the back yard mowing and such to get used to that. This weekend I was digging in the yard looking for my water leak, pulled my shirt off and kept digging before realizing I was no longer concealed, on my own property but close enough to the street/meter to perhaps upset someone, plus I was sweating heavily so I took it inside.
I keep it in my desk at work, it is simply more comfortable that way and I keep a low profile regarding my employer so that new policies don't magically appear-
Remain calm-carry on :)

Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid.

That's what we want to hear. I am in no way "looking" for a reason to draw.
