Sorry you did not get plastic today. Mine did arrive today, DFW area. We were on the same mail dates. Mine was mailed on the 11th ( but post marked 15th) ,
68 days box to box for me.

Hello euc,

I wanted to let you know that you are not alone. My status changed to mail on 4-11-2013 also and I have been watching the mailbox as well as your post. Nothing is worse than 'knowing' it is in the mailbox only to find something for everyone else in the household. Like a kid who cant wait for Christmas, receiving that plastic will be an exciting moment.

I have a friend who's was mailed on 4/11 and she received hers today.. So hopefully by this weekend I'll have it.

Keep me updated on when you get yours. If I get nothing within 15 business days of "mailed" I'll call again.

I will keep you posted. my life story:

02-02-2013: CHL Class/Online application-payment. (set appointment for fingerprints)
02-18-2013: Mailed off packet to TX DPS; paperwork, forms, photos, history, etc.
03-04-2013: Fingerprints submitted. (This was the first available date and I had to travel from Amarillo to Lubbock)
03-26-2013: Status online changed to reflect all information was received.
04-07-2013: Background complete-Manufacturing pending
04-09-2013: Manufacturing
04-11-2013:Mailed

I began to relax once the TX DPS site acknowledged me and then when the background cleared. Now my only fear is that now that it has been mailed, It will either get lost, delivered to the wrong house, fly out of the mailbox, etc.

The first thing I am doing when I receive my plastic is head to my favorite, local pawn shop, and purchase my concealment pistol they have been holding for me:
Colt .45 Defender new in the box. It will sure be nice to replace the bright orange water gun that is currently in my shoulder holster.
