Don't you know Chris Matthews is wallowing in nothing but fat and tears.

While McCain did vote for Toomey-Manchin, he also voted for Grassley-Cruz.
I understand that. One does not offset the other in my mind. He has apparently fallen into the emotional "we've got to do something" trap.
I don't care how McCain votes. The way he treats his fellow Republicans is despicable and inexcusable. I would never vote for the jerk.

Sorry I missed that. What show was it on? Maybe it will be on again later.

At the very end of Brett Baeir's show. Can't remember the name of the show.

Not many things would lead to a full scale revolt but that might just do it. Of course Reid has already told him he does not have support among the senate Dems to make such a move.

personally i think republicans are worried about getting reelected if they voted for the bill.and some democrats in gun friendly states probably are wanting to be reelected too.

Maybe Obama is finally paying the price for his failed economic policies?
"Bribery isn't what it once was," said an official with one of the major gun-control groups. "The government has no money. Once upon a time you would throw somebody a post office or a research facility in times like this. Frankly, there's not a lot of leverage."

I don't guess I have any liberal FB friends. If I did, I would correct the error immediately. I see enough of that dribble as it is.
