GC §411.205. REQUIREMENT TO DISPLAY LICENSE. (a) If a license holder is carrying a handgun on or about the license holder's person when a magistrate or a peace officer demands that the license holder display identification, the license holder shall display both the license holder's driver's license or identification certificate issued by the department and the license holder's handgun license.

It's in the CHL-16 http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/InternetFo ... CHL-16.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I would recommend you print it off every year and reread it on a regular basis. You signed a legal doc stating you read and understood this when you took your class and the question you asked is one of the most basic there is. My Friend, you need some study time.

I don't remember signing that legal document when I took the class.

For the application yes, but not the class, and if somebody is going to nitpick the law they should know the difference.
I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.

You're right. however I knew the law, just not the specific statute.... I lost it between all the IDF I have been receiving here in Afghanistan, I will try to do better!

If you did the paper application you signed 2 affidafits that had to be noterized. One of those said you were taught & understand the law.

If you applied on line one of the "Klicks" you did there was an official "affermation" that you were taught it & understand it.

I don't remember what I filled out online, but I am sure the online version had a spot where you were doing your electronic signature as well. e.

I'm with the gringo. The only thing I signed in class was the CHL 100.

Only when the LEO requests identification. But once asked, yes, we must show both and state-issued picture ID (usually a DL).

I think the most common lie is now "I have read and understand the terms and conditions".....
