"We, as American citizens and defenders of our liberty, must now be vigilant and keep pressure on the U.S. Senate to make certain they do the right thing by blocking this treaty. If they do not, Gen. Abbott is poised to strike in our defense. With Gen. Abbott on our side, I like our odds!" - Bob Price Please join the commentary on TexasGOPVote.com.

What pisses me off the most about the anti-gunners is the fact that they seem to fail to comprehend that as soon as there is a victory of taking away ONE of our rights, the domino's start to fall. At what point do they wake up and say "OH crap - what the hell happened?"? When we loose freedom of speech? Due process? Search and seizure? Jury trial? Think of how much of the Constitution the current Occupier in the WH has shredded. somehow the libertards just don't get that tyrants soon turn on their own kind. It happens every time.

Gilmark, that is exactly what Abbott was warning us about in the conference call I attended. We must keep our guard up to protect all of our rights that are given to us by God and protected by the Bill of Rights.

That is because today's society has been conditioned to live in the here and now, instead of looking at the long term. The anti-gunners are looking at this with blinders on and because they think short term they don't see the threat to other guarantees in the Constitution.

Which is why I want to smash people in the face when they say "You hate Obama so I'll bet you loved Bush." Wrong. Bush did a few good things, but he sure helped us down the path we are on.
And as far as that goes (the Fourth amendment, that is) the First is pretty-much gone as it was intended. When is the last time you heard somebody express an opinion and get shut down with cries of racist or hate-monger? Try praying in a school. The press is far from truthful; how free is that?

Some of them know very well that taking guns will lead to loss of our other rights. That is their goal. They want to be the people who determing what rights, if any, the rest of us have. It is not about guns, it is not about reducing crime, it is about a small elite gaining totalitarian control over society.

The anti gunners do not realize that the 2nd is the bite that allows us to bark and protect our other portions of the bill of rights. Removal of the 2nd basically puts a muzzle preventing the bite... Leaving us to be chained to the tree in the back yard... And starved or beaten by our oppressors.

It that was an actual dog the libs would be furious...but to do it to their fellow citizens is alright because the governed knows what is best and its the government that is putting the muzzle over our heads...
Chl class for me and wife=$225. Chl application fees =$280. Chl gear for 2=more $ the previous. Moving from sheep to sheepdog = priceless

The politicians know exactly what they are doing (OK - for the most part. Sheila Jackson Lee is an exception). They want to take away our rights one by one so that they (i.e. Washington) are in control. For those of you old enough, think of the USSR and the Polit Bureau. The Government did the thinking and the people said OK - or they ended up in the gulag. Too many people in this country are asleep and foolish enough to think "Oh that can't happen here." Oh yea, think of all the things that have happened in the last 10 years that twenty years ago would have been unthinkable. The Second Amendment and giving up just a little of our sovereignty is just a first step.
