someone mentioned they called and talked to someone.. Every time I have ever called I have never made it through... and it cancels the call automatically...

Anyone have a number? My BG check has been "under review" with my Fingerprints for going on 3 weeks now...

I've been told before that having a TWIC card was the reason I was always delayed when purchasing a gun..


Any thoughts? Any phone number that works?

Calling early in the morning 8 am to 10 am usually is the best time to get someone to speak with or after 3:30 pm sometimes.

Can expect 3-5 weeks on fingerprints--easy. So hang in there.

Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since DPS received my app and all other paper work and Im still not in the system. I did the mail in app not the online app cause I did not know about it till after I mailed everything off.

The $140 check I mailed off cleared my bank 3/19 but Im still not in the system. Anyone else run into this. Since the check has cleared they have at least opened my packet and started on it earlier this week cause it takes 2-3 days for a check to clear my bank.

Every single stage is just as annoying as the 1st including the mailed status mine went to Mailed on 3/14/13 and still nothing. People with the same mailed date as mine received it yesterday so I'm hoping today is the day.

Wife says that my permit is sitting at home waiting for me to get out of work. Big thanks for everyone who answered my questions. 55 days mailbox to mailbox.

Im still not even in the system and they have already cashed the $140 check cause it cleared my bank on 3/19. So they opened my packet over a week ago and still not in the system.
