For those who have been to the conventions before, what are the prices on the merchandise typically? Are they marked up or similar to the prices you find online or at Academy? I'm asking about both guns and gear. My wife is looking for a new on-body carry system and we feel this will be an excellent opportunity to try different options before purchasing. Just wondering if we will pay a lot more buying there than waiting until we get back home.

I filled out the volunteer form some time back and I had mentioned on it that I was a Paramedic and would gladly do that if needed. (I also said I would help ANY way needed.) I just got an email from her that says the Volunteer assignments would be coming out this week, and they hire a company for the medical. I have been practicing my best Wal Mart greeter voice......"Welcome to the NRA Convention". I'll probably be a bus boy at the breakfast...but that is OK too.
