Post by ccllud »

I got my list back and this is what it is:
! Application : Received
! Fingerprints : Under review
Affidavits : Received
DL or ID : Valid
Citizenship : No documentation required
Passport photo holder : Received
Photo : Received
Proof of Classroom training : Received
Proof of Proficiency training : Received
Fee : Received
! Background Check : Under review
! Concealed Handgun License : Print pending completion of application review

I havnt heard of fingerprints under review, is that common? I got them done at L1 like everyone else a long time ago

There are several threads on this. Typically it means that there is something "abnormal" about your prints, either in quality or typical print patterns. Another person spoke of partial amputation which led to issues with prints, causing them to be under review. It sounds like you don't have anything to worry about -- just sit back, hurry up, and wait.

Mine were under review until I went manufacturing pending.... Could be a smudge, a scar a whatever....

Have a look at this thread to see just how it is: viewtopic.php?f=83&t=63753" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We are worried a little about my wife's application. She is missing a partial finger but it was noted when she was printed. We shall see...

That should not be an issue. I know a guy, an ex coworker, that lost the tip of index and middle finger in a farming accident. It was noted during printing and I also think he had a doctor's statement as well.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. We didn't send in a Dr's letter or anything, just the notes the person printing did. I guess we will have to see when her's finally updates. This is her first time being printed so its not like is gonna be different for a previous printing. After reading and searching here it doesn't seem that uncommon for a person to be missing a finger.

Fingerprint update. We were concerned about my wife's prints since she is missing part of a finger. Today her prints updated to complete. One less issue to worry about. :hurry:
