I've always wondered about the 18th district. It's probably the most racial and socio-economic balanced district in Texas and she still wins re-election, gotta be something in the water?

I just got a complaint from Balaam's Ass. He insisted that his role was to keep Balaam from going astray, which is diametrically opposed to what Sheila Jackson Lee does. He asked me to ask you to take it back. He said it was very hurtful being compared to a profoundly stupid human, and he hoped you would reconsider your blatant insult on behalf of asses everywhere.

This would sting if anyone outside of her gerrymandered district paid attention to anything she says. She's the congressional equivalent of the kid that was so weird that everybody just smiled & waived when it was clear that today was an "off their meds day".

:iagree: She seems more like Balaam's followers. She has the three signs: an evil eye, a haughty bearing, and an avaricious spirit. My question is if BHO is more like Balaam or Balak.

I had, for years, to endure working in the same building as her. To see her call a press conference with all the dressings at the drop of a hat was quite a sight. No, wait, make that "an irritation".

Two more points -

Don't get between her and a news camera if you want to live.

She's the worst boss in Congress. She's a petty tyrant to her staff, constantly making outrageous demands and, as a result, has the highest staff turnover in Congress.

The Houston Press has done a pretty good job of covering her antics over the years. Here are a few fun reads:

http://www.houstonpress.com/1997-02-20/ ... ss-shelia/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (Shows how she's been pulling these shenanigans for over 15 years.)

http://www.houstonpress.com/related/to/ ... ckson+Lee/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (General index of coverage of her. Man, there are some howlers in there. How somebody that stupid, narcissistic, and manipulative gets re-elected, I don't know. ... Oh, wait...that's pretty much all politicians, isn't it? She's just taken it to a higher level, I suppose.)

Isn't she one of the co-sponsors of HR 55 to "Honor the life of Trayvon Martin"?

Answered my own question, yep, she's one of the co-sponsors. Link here: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/113/hres55" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Quite a read.
