Houston Congressman Ted Poe is never at a loss for words and certainly never when it comes to the 2nd Amendment. Here is his take on gun control from a perspective of Texas history.

I like ted and enjoyed some of his more ingenious rulings when he was a Houston court judge.

Nice article.

But Patterson doesn't know how to shoot. Sooner or later he'll break a thumb if he tries shooting like that.

Great post... they left out another KEY part of that history...

Santa Anna also ordered that only one out of every 500 could be armed. All others were to be disarmed. That action was a major pre-cursor to the fight in Gonzales.
