Salesman told a friend of mine there was no such thing as a PM9. Insisted that she was confused and needed a CW9. She pulled out her phone and showed him the website. He said "oh, that's a brand new model, it's not out yet".

That's just crazy talk! I'd ask him if he would like to see mine, which I've had for a couple of years now......which I bought used and was manufactured in 2007.

no powder or many other components either.

I did just buy 10lbs of H335 from Midsouth Shooters Supply but couldn't find much of anything else. I think I just got lucky tonight. Bought bullets back in April so I'm GTG on those.

I have enough components now to load 750rds of 223rem, 1000rds 38spl, 500rds 9mm and a few hundred each of my Milsurp calibers.

Hopefully this will get me through the drought. Otherwise its nothing but black powder or gearing back up to shoot archery again. Haven't dipped into my "civil defense" stash yet and probably won't until I can readily replace it.

:mad5 :grumble :banghead: :cryin :waiting: :totap: :bigmouth yeah...that about sums up my feelings on the matter

He had a CW9 in stock. I think he was using whatever line he could to convince her to buy what he had.

I went around to stock up on my black powder supplies. I could not find 454 ball anywhere, and got the last container of fffg I found. Guess others are falling back to BP as well.

You want to hear goofy? I couldn't find .22 pellets at Academy. I only wanted to buy 5000.

I do think that different academys get shipments on different days though. I don't think that the temple academy gets shipments when the killeen one does.I think it's the opposite days.

The zip code request is for marketing purposes. Academy ask me that question no matter what I am buying from them. There are a couple other retailers that do the same thing. I haven't been to best buy in awhile but I think they also asked me this question.

The zip code question has nothing to do with guns or ammo.

Yeah, the zip code is rather innocuous but when I'm paying cash I consider all of my personal info to be none of their business. When I'm paying cash and asked for a phone number I give them one for an anti gunner.

LOL... I never thought of that one. I need some anti gunner phone numbers.

I put the brass back in the empty boxes as I learned to shoot. It was an easy way to keep up with how many bullets I had run through each gun. In the back of my mind I thought "waste not, want not". I also thought maybe I might need these some day.

Well are we there yet?
