Silly me. I thought Public Housing might involve modest simple construction with low maintenance, vandal resistant materials. Not carpet, wood floors, wood cabinets and garage door openers. They have garages? I didn't have a real garage until I bought my most recent house.

But it's not "fair" that they can't have all "the nice stuff" that the 1% can have. :banghead:

A public housing project. Seriously.

And no doubt Houston's mayor at some point lauded the jobs created in order to build this.

Man, I picked the wrong career path... Apparently I should've been a professional TV watcher or something.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

Probably.. The contractors are pretty much forced to hire on a certain amount of workers from the ghetto, errr I mean the surrounding area.

That story came out and granite was no longer the "it" material for countertops. I think Silestone is now the "today" material for countertops.

Looks like a real nice place. It will be sad to see it torn up so much after a few rounds of tenants. I wonder if the granite is durable?

So...yup, nicer than my house. That makes me feel really good. I work hard everyday to provide for my wife and son. I guess I should just quit and let everyone else take care of me. I'll get a nicer place to live and won't have to pay for it.

Once folks have moved in, you can probably go over there and get someone to sell you theirs. Just look for a guy who looks strung out 'cause he has no money for dope.

The sense of entitlement by the parasites is amazing. It reminds me of the local school district a few years ago complaining they had to hold classes in trailers and they needed a bond passed. Meanwhile they expected me to pay property taxes to the school district for my single wide. I hate them all. :mad5
