Anybody else ride a MC?

#1

Post by texanjoker »

I bought a MC today. I haven't had one in 2 years and NEEDED to get back on one. I have been riding since I was 9. I can get on one for 45 minutes and just feel the stress flow. I P/U a Yamaha V-Star 1100......14000 miles on it, so it's barely broken in.... One of these days I'll possibly pull the plug on a Harley, but I had the V-star 650 before and minus the power or lack of really liked it. They did have the Harley police edition in stock. Man that bike was sweet but not in my $ range today. Plus it's probably good to have a hobby they are not banning - yet :smash:

I ride.

I have an '07 Nightster, '05 Kawasaki ZX-10R, and a GSXR600 track bike. No pictures on the computer I'm using now, but I can post'em later.

I ride a little Shadow 600 I traded a member on here for. Looking to upgrade for something better suited for longer rides already.

You too? I just put on a set of V&H 2-into-2's on my '12 RK like you did, although I opted for the Screaming Eagle Ventilator, rather than the Heavy Breather (same effect, just allows me to install a leg fairing system in the future if I want). Got the full Dyna job done and that thing is LOUD and, oh boy, does it have a lot more ponies now :thumbs2:

I'll have to take a pic today if the weather allows.

I decided to take pics this morning. A bit rainy though, but makes the black and chrome look nice.

I finally have my Road King in "just right" mode...Heritage bars, Kuryakyn ISO Grips, V&H big radius pipes, Screamin Eagle intake, and a full dyna retune.
