One of them I've heard already is the WW2 era M1 Carbine. My dad carried one ashore at Iwo Jima, in defense of Diane Feinstein's right to be a moral cripple. Whoever comes to try and take mine is going to get shot with it.

Feinstein’s proposal is a bad deal. I think if they pass this it will sound like they just want the magazines that hold more than ten rounds. When implemented, it will be understood to be any firearm that will accept a magazine over ten rounds. It also, AIUI, says anything forward of the action will be considered as an add-on; few firearms do not have a magazine well in front of the action. If a gun is magazine fed it can accept a magazine over ten rounds therefore the gun will be banned. When instituted banned will read prohibited.

By the way she says there will be over 900 approved guns. On that list of 900 approved guns there are zero handguns of any type.

We cannot wait. I have already contacted my representatives to say I am not in favor
of any additional gun control. I have taken to challenging in a calm and sincere way any one when they say things I know to be false in a conversation which I am involved. Emotion aside, a minuscule percentage of what they have to say is based in truth or facts. Unfortunately the press, for the most part, is on the wrong side.

We must not allow untruths and even innuendo to go unchallenged.

That means virtually all semi-auto handguns and rifles....Glocks for instance have a light rail, and I've no doubt that being able to see your target is a "military" and "assault" type characteristic. Her bill bans most pump defensive shotguns too. So, what are military characteristics? Guessing...pistol grip, rail, barrel shroud, flash suppressor, muzzle brake, adjustable butt stock, vertical fore grip, dot sight, laser sight, and who knows what else.

I've seen what people have claimed to be the list floating around on the dark recesses of the internet, but I can't make any claims to the accuracy of said list...

From memory I believe it contained wording like "Applies to specific weapons and all derivatives" and listed things like M1 Carbine, Bushmaster XM15, Armalite AR-10/AR-15, Ruger Mini-14, SKS, Saiga, Thompson, etc... however I have some doubts on the accuracy because it also contained specifically named weapons that are already part of NFA (some older H&K models) along with some that in so far as I am aware were never on the civilian market.

It was also worded to ban anything that had a collapsible/folding stock, *any* forward grip, and of course anything with the shoulder thing that goes up (barrel shroud).

I know a woman married to a Police Officer in Houston. At first she was talking 100% pro 1st Amendment; now he or she has accepted the idea that the amount of weapons and ammo an individual should have and or can purchase, needs to be limited..

All there is for specifics is the PDF on Feinstein's page. The public wont go for a full disarment, based on surveys I have read. The background checks, waiting periods, ect will be 1000 times longer or more intense and the full Clinton ban may happen..

The lists will be a distraction at best. IOW they can compromise by removing the ban list without changing anything in practice. I predict all 120 named firearms will have disqualifying charateristics like being semiautomatic with detachable magazines. The 900 protected guns will be bolt action, lever action, etc. Traditional hunting weapons.

Do you have a list of the 900 approved guns? I've looked everywhere for it but can't find it.

I have not personally seen the list. But From the NRA ILA
and my contact in Virginia that is what I was told. I also
understand she will introduce the bill on the 22nd of January.

I plan on making a tradition of using my AR-10 to hunt hogs.
