Waiting on the status to change

#1

Post by ron993 »

Myself and several guys from my local jeep club took the CHL class on 3/10. Mailed the packet off and called the state the other day to check status and they said processing began 3/22.

I currently have a Taurus PT-140 and am looking at a Keltec P-3AT.

I checked my status yesterday and it was still being processed, I checked this morning and it has been completed and license issued.

ron993, Welcome aboard!

My renewal showed complete Tues. The plastic arrived today. You should have yours soon.

PS. I had a jeepster V-6 a loooong time ago. I used to drive out in the woods and just keep going to worse and worse places until I finally got stuck. Is that what you guys do? ;-)

Darn... people who applied after me are getting their cards before me. I'm still in "Processing Application" and I sent mine 3/7. What part of Texas are you from? I've heard people talking about Travis County dragging their feet on their portion of the background check... and I'm guessing that's why I'm still waiting.

Well, congrats!

Congrats!

That "Coil Over" front... allows for pretty good articulation.

It is "locked" right? ;-)

Ron,

Good looking Jeep. That really makes me miss my Rubicon. I used to have a company car and always had a Jeep for fun (I've had 4 Wranglers). When I switched careers I didn't have time to enjoy it anymore. This time of year I really start to miss the Jeep and motorcycle. One of these days I'll probably cave and get another one. Until then I'll just be jealous of your pics. Post some more if you get a chance.

Keep the rubber side down.

I have not quite figured out all the abbreviations yet. Can you please tell me what the "Wally Walk" is?

Is when you get your permit you go to WW and order nachos. I figure it is just an excuse to leave the house with your ccw. I am new here and could be totally wrong.
