I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

Hmmm. Unshelled peanuts have shells, but unsalted peanuts have no salt.sjfcontrol wrote:Soooo... If shelled means without shells, why wouldn't salted mean without salt?

I am sitting in McDonald's reading an article and laughing so hard that I had unsweet tea spitting out my nose and people looking at me.

Speaking of nuts, will A&M be able to survive the season with Johnny Football being benched for 2 quarters against Rice?

Re: Trying something out
I just heard the name Johnny Football yesterday. I thought the guy was just joking. Guess I have to be living under a rock to first not realize that's the name of a player, and then not to know that it is a nickname and not his given name.strider67 wrote:Speaking of nuts, will A&M be able to survive the season with Johnny Football being benched for 2 quarters against Rice?

I'm all for "their property, their rules", act in this manner, but . . .
Since when does a having to be G rated discussion relate to the minimum age to required to obtain a CHL being 21 (or 18 for military personnel)? Are we worried that 8 year olds are reading a forum to learn how to get a CHL in 13 years when the legislation can change?
Just something that strikes me as silly . . .
