Use a tupperware gun and don't plan on drawing fast. When I use a belly band, I generally carry my Ruger P 95. But I don't carry this method often.

We're all different.

My dad didn't like the belly band. I love it. (In fact, he gave me his.)

Drawing from the belly band actually isn't much slower than holster draw. The belly band is also a good option if you aren't wearing something that accommodates the belt. Think scrubs (for you medical folks), or dresses and skirts.

Try attaching a holstered gun to a skirt without the belt. You'll find that you aren't wearing the skirt very well.

Seriously though, that is a good idea for medical people. I will have my daughter try the belly band when she gets her CHL.

That is my 1st suggestion for ladies & try it crossdraw at about 9:30 to 10:00.

Again, if I had to get rid of all my holsters but one, I'd keep the Belly Band. I carry a .357 snubbie, a Glock 23, or a Springer GI .45 with no problem. If I am in shorts or work out attire, it is great. Alot of times, I wear it to Church. I slide it up so it is higher up on my belly, and put it at a crossdraw. I have my shirt tucked in, I just have one button between me and my weapon.
I found the Lord again--although he never lost me!

Nobody's mentioned the SmartCarry. I've been considering one of these.

They have a customer-made video (2.1MB) on their site.
