Liberals. You could almost laugh at their antics if they weren't so dangerous to the economy or our natural God-given rights.
This reminds me of how they push for the "rich" to pay more in taxes, but at the same time exercise every legal advantage to pay the lowest taxes possible themselves - or in the case of Tim Geithner, are incapable of properly paying what they owe in taxes. ;-)

The "you didn't build that" mantra is a way to help promote the collectivist ideology. Since we all helped make you successful, we can glom on to your success and wealth - upward and onward with the legal plunder (or "Forward" as Obama puts it). Frederic Bastiat knew Obama and his ilk before Obama did.

It's almost enough to make a guy reach for some tin foil.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

Apparently, the Obama "he didn't say that" argument is that the President, and/or his speechwriters, don't know how to speak English, and we shouldn't assume that what he says actually means what he says. I like this argument because the Obama team itself is saying essentially that even without assuming the President is a pathological liar we can't believe anything he says.

I would recommend everyone see the movie Obama 2016 if it is playing in your town. It's a documentary by Dinesh D'souza about how Obama's fore fathers ways guides him.It is very interesting. Take a liberal with you to see it and open their eyes. ;-)

Wow, you're optimistic. I think a liberal who is susceptible to having his eyes opened is a like a Unicorn --a mythological creature. Liberals are like Hitler's staff in the German film Der Untergang (The Downfall). Hiding in an underground bunker in Berlin under continuous shelling, the city surrounded by Russian troops, they were all certain their Dear Leader was going to smite the allies with a secret weapon and win the war. Well, OK, I exaggerate ---our liberals are even more delusional, they'd probably think the Dear Leader's suicide was a ruse.

Of course it is your intention, otherwise, why post it? If it walks like a troll, talks like a troll, and smells like a troll.....

Dude, obviously you've not read or don't care about the forum's posting rules with regard to language. I tried to report your post, but somebody beat me to it. In addition to being just plain wrong, you're not very socially adept. Thank you for cussing at me. I always like a guy better when he cusses me out, because then I better know where we stand with one another.

Have a nice day. Better yet, please enjoy the kind of day your classiness entitles you to. :tiphat:

And by the way, I first heard the whole quote.....all of it.....when he first spoke it, before it was getting parsed by everyone. He said what he said. I'm a small business owner. I get it. He doesn't. Apparently, neither do you.

And by the way, Lewis Black is a (sometimes) funny comedian, not some great philosopher or political thinker.

You didn't miss much. Apparently another person who can't express himself without a potty mouth. We're extremists, and Obama is not even close to the most liberal president we've ever had, but of course, he himself is a neutral observer and we're all stupid, yada yada yada. Funny how some folks never have an original thought and are so predictable.
