Works for me. I have a Mossberg 500 with a Blackhawk recoil reducing stock on it which makes it look much like this one. Mine probably cost a dollar or two less though and not a semi.

its not on any wish list of mine , but i have many times thought of going semi-auto shotgun for home defense . you always hear the ole tale of the famous sound of a pump being its own defense . but the sound of 9 3" buckshot shells shot in a few seconds is ummmmm .....awesomer

Beiruty,

This SG is on my *short list*.
Lately, I have become an FaNatic for the FNH arsenal. Quality stuff.
They used the system found in the Winchester XS2 semi-auto shotguns.
Only bad thing I have heard about them is the cost.

My friend and I actually recently had a discussion on what is the best home defense weapon. At first I was suggesting a 10-12 gauge shot gun, but he said that he would rather have a AR-15 type to be his home defense weapon...later I agreed. AR-15 I think is much more versatile...among other things.

Yes, the cost is around $1200 on gunbroker. BTW, my other shotgun the Beretta A400 Exrtreme is in my opinion the most advanced firearm that i ever I owned. Super nice to break it into 3 parts in less than 10 secs and super light too. Sweet. I did not shoot it yet.... :cryin :cryin

Very nice. I have become a big FN fan, so I am bias I suppose, but I give her two thumbs up!

I totally agree - I've never understood the desire to announce one's location before sending rounds downrange... Also, I've had my eye on a Benelli M2 for a few months - about the same price range I think - but the FN looks great as well...
