Wow, Kel-Tec sure has... 'grown up'
Or at least been taken over by a weapons designer from the set of Stargate, or something:
Wow, I want!
This thing looks like it should come with a 'stun' setting. Cool enough, though, it's a 6+6+1 it has 2 magazine tubes in it, selectable to which one you want to use.
I can see this one twisting some necks at the skeet range

Good luck getting one. Dealers have asked for thousands of these things. Kel-Tec is dribbling them out about 10 at a time. That's why you find them on GunBroker now for 2x their retail price...IF you can find one.

Buds puts them straight to their auction site to cash in on their demand.

Okay, so maybe they haven't grown up...

They have quite a few products that demand exceeds supply. PMR30 and SUB2000 for example.
good stuff.

I'm not sure the rarity is artificial. Those might just be hard to make, or thy could be waiting on a supplier.Seburiel wrote:Okay, so maybe they haven't grown up...

But, yeah... I want one... And an RFB...

But can you imagine the brain freeze these will cause? 00 in the left tube, slug in the right. Bad guy pops up. Hmmm, 00 or slug? 00 or slug? Slug, no 00, no slug. Hey, where did he go?

Here's a few of the earlier discussions about the Kel-Tec shotgun.

Re: Wow, Kel-Tec sure has... 'grown up'
I got to handle one of these last month when I stopped at cheaper than dirt. They were putting one out on display. (and moments later one of the new ruger 10\22 break down!)
I was impressed with the fit, finish and the pump action was smooth. Saftey and tube selector switch were ergonomical for me too. I think they said it was $700+.

I admit the RFP intrigues me. I handled one at a gunshow once. A guy was walking around with one...not for sale...just showing off, and he let me handle it. It's kinda cool. Not as cheesy in the build quality as I expected it to be, but not as substantial feeling as an AR10 or a M1A, for instance. But it is one of the few bullpup designs that works for me as a left-hander.

I had a 10/22 Takedown in my inventory for a total of 3 hours. They're sweet rifles. I was sooo tempted to keep it for myselfEstand wrote:I got to handle one of these last month when I stopped at cheaper than dirt. They were putting one out on display. At least with the 10/22's, I know Ruger is making more than one a month!

I kind of new to the rifle scene. But would this gun be considered rifle-ish? or more handgun?
