Seems corny to say but thanks for sharing. We make our plans and then life gets in the way. :tiphat:

HS Science Teacher.

Grew up with two parents that were career teachers, married a teacher, in-laws where in education, sister is a teacher, SIL is a teacher's assistant, DIL was a teacher before becoming a full-time mom.

Guess I was doomed to be a teacher.... I really do enjoy it...most days.

Teaching is a noble profession. [Most of] my high school science teachers were excellent teachers, good men [and one woman] who were role models who really cared about their students, both at school and at home. I had thought about being a high school science teacher, but the timing was never right for me.

I am the daughter and granddaughter of teachers. In fact half of my family have been teachers in one way or another. Before my little ones were born I was a teacher for 9 nine years. :tiphat: It is a tough job, but a rewarding one.

Y'all are better folks than I. I am the son of two teachers, one is now a principal. I am getting my BA in History and minoring in SPED... but after spending time in public school classrooms, I just can't do it. So I'm going LEO instead...

Nice Blue Thunder reference.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.
