How's traffic at the Trap today? Thinking about going, and then BUX.

Luckily my "local" BUX is open until 10p tonight, because it'll be late before I'll finally get there. Coffees for my Valentine and I, hot cocoa for the kids. And a good tip for the staff.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) the Starbucks that I frequent during the workweek is in a hotel that probably wouldn't tolerate a gaggle of boycotters on the premises.

But I did buy a can of double-shot espresso to show my solidarity!

Huge Thank you goes out to 74novaman, who took the time and effort to drive in to Killeen today...

My Lovely wife of 22 years received a Special cup of coffee from me in Afghanistan vie long distance remote control, on the day of Valentines. I got to make her smile on a special day, couples normally share together.

That the "gift" came from a company who supports our constitutional right to bare arms is a huge helping of icing on the cake.

Aw shucks.

Thanks for the kind words, Erik. I was happy to do it...and its the least I could do for someone on the front lines away from their loved one. Thank you for your service, and come home safe. :patriot:

As to my actual visit to starbucks, it was pretty quiet. Being Killeen, I wasn't surprised to see no slightly smelly, vagrant looking anti gun protestors. I did see at least one guy in the store who fit the "profile" to be doing the same thing I was (older gentleman wearing a big vest). Other than looking like an idiot to the person working (apparently I don't know how to order coffee right...guess its because I'm not big on drinking the stuff) there was no drama involved.

Went to two Starbucks with a handful of $2.00 bills wearing my NRA ball cap. Didn’t see one “boycotter” or CHL. If there was any other CHL in either place they did not make any sign of recognition.

Looks like this “boycott” will go over like a lead balloon. "rlol" I will be going back.

A case of the pukes is making the rounds at our house with me being the last one. I have a screaming caffeine (withdrawal) headache right now because I haven't had any in two days. Drats.

didn't seem any busier than usual.

went to the Starbucks on Spring Creek and central. i said, "did you know you were being boycotted nation wide today?". she said "no". "so you didn't notice any difference today?", "nope."

could this be the smartest media campaign by Starbucks to bring in CHL'ers for Valentine's day?? ;-)

I got a tall coffee and pumpkin bread but I was only carrying one gun. Does that count?

Due to weird circumstances, I wound up working today, so instead of a leisurely mid morning breakfast, I had lunch there: quadruple espresso; bagel with cream cheese; and a brownie for dessert. Didn't see anyone else carrying concealed.
