For you XD loyalist out there this might be of particular interest if you've be looking for a small stick of dynamite for concealed carry.
Its a single stack .45ACP that holds 5+1 and has a 3.3" barrel
Is only 1" thick.
Weighs in at 29oz.

Seen some pix from the SHOT show. Wonder how long before we'll see them 'in the wild'.

I am not too much into small handguns, but that one is interesting. I bet the recoil is stiff, but a .45 in that package is intriguing.

I don't know much about ballistics... but would .45ACP be a benefit with that short of barrel?
Re: NEW: Springfield XDS Single Stack .45ACP Micro
i'm hoping these will be priced under 500, shall see when they come out though whenever that is. The existence of this was just announced so I would think production isn't coming anytime soonMedicMan218 wrote:I thought that too.....but THIS ONE is an XD!!!!

I wish Glock would do this. I like XD's ok, but prefer to keep my carry guns with the same system, parts, etc.

I understand. Maybe you should sell all of your Glocks and start again with the correct series...Scott in Houston wrote:I wish Glock would do this. I like XD's ok, but prefer to keep my carry guns with the same system, parts, etc.
