For you XD loyalist out there this might be of particular interest if you've be looking for a small stick of dynamite for concealed carry.

Seen some pix from the SHOT show. Wonder how long before we'll see them 'in the wild'.

Walther already did - the PPS. Feels very much like a 9mm single stack XD.

I am not too much into small handguns, but that one is interesting. I bet the recoil is stiff, but a .45 in that package is intriguing.

I don't know much about ballistics... but would .45ACP be a benefit with that short of barrel?

i'm hoping these will be priced under 500, shall see when they come out though whenever that is. The existence of this was just announced so I would think production isn't coming anytime soon

I wish Glock would do this. I like XD's ok, but prefer to keep my carry guns with the same system, parts, etc.
