My tattoos have faded quite a bit, but then again, so has the rest of me.

I, along with most people who have tattoos, totally respect that. Your body is a temple......so is mine, I just added some stained glass ;-)

Many who don't have tattoos tend to judge those who do based on "the old laws".

The only one with a real "story" is my zipper tattoo. Following my third major shoulder surgery, I had a pretty ugly scar down the back of my shoulder. I got the artist to cover the scar with a zipper, hopefully that will make it easier for the next surgery. :biggrinjester:

For those of you asking about the cost of a tat.............NEVER budget shop for tattoos or a taxidermist, it's supposed to last forever.
I will admit to considering a zipper over my knee scar, or a choo choo train.
I don't recommend the zipper.......the artist did too good a job of covering the scar, now I have to explain it to anyone who looks close enough to recognize that it's a zipper.
Part of my reasoning has to do with two knee surgeries in five months.

But not really all that interested, I might have to do the same for ALL of my scars, which could be expensive, and the ones on my face . . .

BTW, I DO embroider (with a machine) which gives me LOTS of temporary "body art."

Just two examples, a vest I did for a friend, the rest are on another computer.

thanks~!

they have faded a little bit because im addicted to the sunshine and outdoor activities. luckily, my artist is an understanding person (sometimes) and wont beat me up when i come in for touch ups.

after a touch up session it looks brand new again.

Ozzy said it best. "When I got all these tattoos I was tryin to be the outlaw with tattoos. If I had known everybody and their grandmother was gonna get tattoos, I would have just been the outlaw without tattoos".

I do a lot of other stuff, that was just the pics I had on hand - yes, for money, but not much, and we stay busy, but not enough to make a business out of it.

Went to the Wal-Mart in Jacksonville today and saw :eek6 some pretty inspirational "tats". We haven't made up our minds yet of what, and where we want 'em. :coolgleamA:
