100 pages, wow people here have a lot of free time apparently. Oh and on my trip to Dallas I saw that the speed limit was raised to 75 on parts of IH-35.

Re: Trying something out
AWESOME! Maybe I'll start taking 35 instead of the back roads. Of course I first have to make sure the backroad limits haven't also been raised. The Mad Moderate wrote:100 pages, wow people here have a lot of free time apparently. Re: Trying something out
The best thing about a 75 MPH limit is most cars will do more than 80 and I just fall in the pack, made great time, 3 hours and 10 minuets from the medical distract in Dallas to my home in Austin.

What back roads do you take?LikesShinyThings wrote:AWESOME! Maybe I'll start taking 35 instead of the back roads. I live west of Gatesville and take the back roads to almost Hillsboro, on my way to the DFW Metroplex. Regardless of the increased speed limit, it only takes one truck driving at 60 trying to pass another to back up the traffic.
Made it back from the race on Sunday in less than three hours from the time I started my truck in the parking lot. Our friends that live in Waco, left the same time we did and they arrived home after us.

I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

Re: Trying something out
I usually head north on 281. Seems like when we're heading home, though, we hop on 35, so the southbound trip is likely to have the benefit, regardless. You're right, though - lots of two-lane road in there, and too often you find someone poking along. Then we sit back and enjoy the scenery.i8godzilla wrote:What back roads do you take?LikesShinyThings wrote:AWESOME! Maybe I'll start taking 35 instead of the back roads. When travelling I-35, be sure and make that "kolache stop" at the Czech Stop in West

Then it'll be 100 pages

Check?
