It took a while but you finally got here! Welcome to Texas!Slappinthecatgut wrote:Hi... I'm new. Just moved here from the peoples republic of california a few months ago. I'm 31, married w 2 little girls. I just received my chl (Texas green card, as I call it to my old friends in ca). I'm thankful for my right to carry my g26 to protect my family and myself. I'm glad to be here and thank you Texas for all your kind and many like minded people.
While you didn't mention WHERE in North Texas you are, if IH-35W and Golden Triangle Blvd (about halfway between Fort Worth and Denton) is convenient for you, lemme suggest you look at Shoot Smart, on the west service road of IH-35W between Heritage Trace and Golden Triangle. Nice, cool, indoor range. CHL classes there are $100 and judging by my research before hand, and reading all the CH-class horror stories on various boards, they do a good job.USASGT wrote:... Been researching CHL classes/locations.
