I love shooting anything, but my Steyr M9 has spoiled me. I really enjoy shooting this pistol.

As far a cobat pistols go, I will have to say my HK P7M13. When it comes to larger, non-concealed, S&W 58, .41 Mag with an 8" bbl.

Shotgun, Parker Trojan in 16 gauge, and rifle, AR's are tops with me.

Favorite gun ..

I have had my Springfield Champion .45 for a little over a year and it's definitely my favorite all around. But it's also fun to put my 29 (really 30) round Glock .40 S&W magazine in my Glock 27. It looks a bit weird but the weight of the extra 19 rounds give a lot of extra stability ... until they're used up!

I have a TRS 1911 on order, and I'm sure when I get it, it will be my favorite. If I can just get my wife to let me by the TR AR, I'll be in heaven.

I've seen the Steyr but haven't had the chance to shoot one yet. I'm curious about what you like about it and what makes it different/better?

Paladin,
Very ergonomic which contributes to significantly reduced recoil. This pistol is comfortable to shoot and reliable. It's just fun.

Assuming we are talking about handguns, I would have to pick my glock 30.

It just fits my hand perfect and I can shoot it very well without even taking a sight picture. I just point it and shoot and I hit what I'm aiming at most of the time. Can't say this about most of my other guns. I carry a kahr PM9 alot but I have to get a good sight picture with it to hit COM. The Glock doesn't seem to have much recoil either. (altough I am not very recoil sensitive anyway).

Rifles: I love my Remington 700 BDL 30-06.

Another vote for the Glock, but this time the G19 in 9x19.

Another vote for the G19. Die-hard 1911 fan for 4 decades, but truly enjoy shooting a G19 at IDPA.
